This is one of Ilya Kovalchuk's game worn jerseys from the 2004 NHL All-Star Game. This was Kovalchuk's first career NHL All-Star Game in which he scored a goal. Kovlachuk was voted as a starter by fans and received the most votes in the league. Kovalchuk wore three jerseys during the game (one for each period) and this jersey was worn during the second period. Meigray auctioned off the first period jersey, the NHLPA retained the second period jersey, and Kovalchuk kept the third period jersey. Kovalchuk autographed the jersey on the back during the second intermission. The jersey was originally obtained from the NHLPA and came with a certificate of authenticity from Meigray.
