This is an Ilya Kovalchuk game used Easton Z-Bubble with a Nike blade. It was used during the 2001-2002 NHL Season. This was Kovalchuk's rookie year in which he was named the MVP of the NHL Young Stars Game and selected to the NHL All-Rookie Team. The tape has been removed from the blade where Kovalchuk autographed it. Kovalchuk sticks are very difficult to find and this rookie year stick is truly a rarity. The stick was originally obtained from a member of the Atlanta Thrashers organization.
